Life by Chocolate
1/4 cup cacao
2 cups pecans dry
20 mission figs soaked in water 4-6 hours-keep the soak water
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp all spice
3 cups ripe avocado
1/4 cup maca
1 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup agave
pinch chili/cayenne optional
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup soak water from figs
Using a coffee mill to grind nuts to a fine powder. Transfer to a large bowl and add spices, salt and cacao powder.
Add this to a food processor with the figs and blend until smooth.
Place mixture into a pie dish and flatten evenly – place in freezer.
Blend all ingredients until smooth and pour over base. Return to freezer.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Spoon over pie.
Decorate with extra cacao nibs or dust with cacao powder.
Serve with raspberry coullis. Add 1 packet of frozen (thawed) raspberries to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
