Book Review – Open – Andre Agassi

Andre Agassi

Open – Andre Agassi

I would describe my self as being interested in tennis, but by no means a dedicated fan, so I came to this book more interested in the human story of Agassi the man rather than the concept of tennis.

I was not disappointed, I absolutely loved this book, it delivered on every aspect of the human spirit. Competition, desire, dedication, commitment, health, ability and relationship are just some of the human elements covered in the book.

What I loved most about this raw autobiography was the honesty, with which this book was written, Agassi bares his soul.

A must read, for the human element alone, if not for the insight into the world of international tennis.
