Snack Time – Lunch Box Filler

I came across this 2EZY Raw Recipe, I think you could easily leave out the Coconut oil if you want to lower the FAT content, also halving the almonds or replacing them completely with extra oats or chia seeds, would still see this a healthy LOW/NO FAT alternative snack.

Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 Cup Strawberries
1 Cup finely ground almonds
1 Cup Raw Flaked Oats
1 Tbsp Agave (optional)
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
5 large strawberries, sliced thin

Place banana, strawberries, agave and coconut oil (softened) in your Blender until smooth.
Add almond flour and pulse until combined.

Next, Stir in Flaked Oats until nice consistency.

Spread on non-stick tray of 1 cm thick. Top each square with strawberry slice. Dehydrate at 145 for 30
minutes and then 115 for 2 hours. Move to mesh screens and dehydrate until dry but not hard. 

You want these to be a little soft. Refrigerate.
